It’s not so much about age, but about ability. The most important thing is that your child can sit comfortably with their head supported and keep their eye open for a short period (around a minute) while we capture the image. As every child is different, this can vary, but as long as they’re able to stay still and follow simple guidance, we can usually achieve a great result.

Due to the specialist camera equipment being fixed in position, we are unfortunately unable to capture high-quality iris images of pets.

At Mark Swinford Photography , all clients are required to pay a deposit to reserve the time slot in our team's diary.

At Mark Swinford Photography we have a range of prints starting at just £95 for the first one, the more you buy, the price reduces.

Absolutely – and you're not alone in asking! This is actually our most popular question.

The Iris-Art high-resolution digital file, handcrafted with creative designs and blending your family's eyes into one, costs just £245. This file is ready to print up to 16x12, possibly larger depending on the laboratory you use. This is usually supplied by SMASH as a download. (If you have a £49 Bronze Voucher, the £49 can be discounted off the £245)

We understand that investing in beautiful memories is important, and we want to make it as accessible as possible for you.

We are proud to be associated with and use the finance facility from Pay It Monthly, with interest free options over 12 months. Ask for more details when you come along to see your images at your viewing appointment. This is available for orders over £500

We are close to a bus route, 5 minutes walk from Horsforth railway station, 20 minute drive from Leeds & Bradford airport!

We have free parking adjacent to studio, simply pop your car registration details in the ipad in our reception when you arrive.

Great news – we start working on your bespoke order the moment you leave the studio! However, because everything we create is uniquely crafted for you, timings do vary depending on what you've chosen.

If you've ordered digital files, you'll typically receive your download link within 21-28 days – perfect if you're eager to start sharing and printing right away! We use "SMASH" to send your files, this is secure and easy to download your files properly. (arrives by email, look out for SMASH)

For our framed art pieces and albums, we estimate 8-10 weeks, though we always aim to deliver sooner when possible. Why the wait? Because each piece goes through our meticulous creative process: professional retouching by our digital artist, careful review by your photographer, and then hand-crafting by our trusted UK laboratory. It's this attention to detail that ensures your wall art will be something you'll treasure for years to come.

We'll keep you updated throughout the process, so you'll always know exactly where your order is and when to expect it.

This voucher includes your photoshoot for one person, extra people are £20 each, this is payable at your session. Included is a social media size digital, suppled as part of our phone app. This file is not printable but can be shared on all social platforms and to friends and family.

If you wish to upgrade this file to a printable version, a small fee of £50 is charged at the time of ordering.

Not at all. The process is completely safe, painless, and non-invasive — it simply involves taking a detailed photograph of your eye using specialist equipment.

If you wear contact lenses, it’s important that you remove them for your session. Ideally, please take them out in advance so your eyes have time to settle and don’t appear watery during the shoot..

We allow 30 minutes, this includes time for photography and for you to decide what you would like to order, and make the order before you leave. All orders under £500 are paid in full on the day, by cash, credit / debit or Amex.
